Direct monitoring of all phases of production, allows us to identify each raw material with its origin and transformation processes. Thus uniting tradition and technology present through <strong>QR codes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thus, <strong>the end users will be able to connect to<\/strong> producers, artisans and the heritage values <strong>their consumption helps to preserve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"jt-heading \" style=\"text-align:left;\"><h4 class=\"jt-main-head\" style=\"color:#000000;\">Our great vision<\/h4><\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Our objectives are to identify viable projects<\/strong> on traditional Spanish activities <strong>based on criteria of economic, social and environmental sustainability<\/strong>; disseminate <strong>our cultural diversity and economically affect the consumption of products at source for improvement<\/strong>, recovery and development of each activity on which a project is carried out.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"jt-heading \" style=\"text-align:center;\"><h4 class=\"jt-main-head\" style=\"\">About its founder<\/h4><div class=\"jt-sep\"><\/div><\/div>[vc_empty_space height=&#8221;2px&#8221;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1478792629673{margin-right: 5px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alberto D\u00edaz is the founder and director of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Made in Slow<\/span> and the person who champions the idea of recovering and recognizing the worth of traditional Spanish activities taking into account economic, social and environmental sustainability criteria to link these activities and the fashion industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alberto was born in a family whose father, born in Le\u00f3n, led a knitting factory and whose mother, born in La Mancha, took care of a flock of transhumant sheep during her childhood together with her family. He began his professional career recycling knitting cloths that were discarded both from his father\u2019s factory and from those factories in the province of Le\u00f3n with the aim of making kids clothing with them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thus he started his journey into the world of fashion, setting up his own factory, which experienced different stages. He started working for small stores and wholesalers producing t-shirts, trousers, sweatshirts and warm clothing to continue later producing clothing for Pull &amp; Bear and several designer brands of El Corte Ingl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 1999, he decided to focus on the manufacturing of knitting clothes and he became an industrial designer with his own line of clothing, besides designing collections for Yera, Amitie, Esfera, Cortefiel, PdH, Custo Barcelona, Angel Schelesser and El Ganso, among others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2008, due to the financial crisis, he was forced to close his factory but reinvented himself thanks to his knowledge, experience and acknowledgement of the quality of his work in the textile industry. Then, he decided to work as freelancer by developing knitting collections for several brands such as Desigual, Blanco, Emilio Tucci, Ecoalf y Lefties, among others, suported by different Spanish production centres.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;1770&#8243; img_size=&#8221;750&#215;850&#8243; css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1480364389922{padding-top: 45px !important;}&#8221;][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1478793037875{padding-right: 15px !important;padding-left: 15px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to being multitalented and a self-taught person, Alberto D\u00edaz has an imaginative and creative spirit. After being trained as an actor in the School of Drama of Le\u00f3n in the 1990s, he combines work and acting. He has taken part in different theatrical productions and short movies, he has written several plays and has founded his own amateur theatre company, &#8220;La Submarina&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2012, he wrote and directed the short movie &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.placeresolvidados.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Placeres Olvidados<\/a>&#8221; for \u2018<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lasomoza.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">La Somoza Bar Gastron\u00f3mico<\/a>\u2019. From this experience, the idea of carrying out a film about the transhumance was born, which has given him a deep insight into the hard situation that this activity is going through at the moment.
